Local Maps

For visitors with smart phones or tablets with GPS, there is an excellent free app for iPhone and Android. Organic Maps (formerly Maps.me) is based on open street map and needs no wifi or phone signal. The maps which are also free are easy to download and are then available offline.

There are some local footpaths marked as well as other detail which is not present on the Ordnance Survey or Google maps.

Open Street Map  is a free open source mapping system which is constantly updated by users around the world, can be viewed online and can be downloaded and printed for later use. Again, some detail is better than Google or OS.

Click the image to visit the site and see a map of the Coigach area.

Ordnance Survey maps covering the Coigach peninsula are Landranger 15 – Loch Assynt and Explorer 439 – Coigach and Summer Isles.

If you are going to the hills or more remote places these are the best maps to take with you. Please do not rely solely on electronic devices which may let you down.

There is a map in our free leaflet which can be downloaded from the link in the Information menu above.

You can also view a larger version of the map on the left by clicking it or download it here Coigach Map

Use the Google map below in the usual way to find us or calculate your journey time and route. Please remember you need wifi or mobile coverage to use this map.
