If you are travelling from the south. Follow the A835 to Ullapool, continue through Ullapool for another 9 miles and you will reach the junction with the single track road to Achiltibuie. From the north travel south towards Ullapool from the junction with the A837 at Ledmore until you see the turning for Achiltibuie to the right.
Follow the road for about 12 miles until you reach the T junction next to Achnahaird beach. At this junction there are signposts to many of the villages and points of interest.
If you are in or near Lochinver take the scenic coastal route (the wee mad road) through Inverkirkaig and Inverpolly for 12 miles. Turn right at Badagyle when you see the sign to Achiltibuie. Please note this road is not suitable for caravans or long vehicles.
Please remember when you are driving on single track roads to let following traffic past and to pull in to the left when using passing places.
