The varied coastline of the Coigach peninsula and the Summer Isles offers diving considered to be amongst the best anywhere in the country because of its clear water and rich marine life. There are also a number of wrecks in the area which are favourite dive sites.

An Eaglais Mhor (Cathedral Cave) on the south side of Tanera Beag is the largest of a number of caves in the islands and is a popular dive site.

A sheltered tidal slipway for boat launching is located at Old Dornie Harbour.
